Between loads of laundry at the local laundromat, Cooper recounts the story of his gender transition. By reconstructing his memories, from his childhood in a small fishing village to the behind-the-scenes of his tumultuous medical process, Cooper tries to make peace with the last masculine imprint on his body: that troublesome deep voice that clings to him.
