Logline
When Marie considers handing over the spare key to her boyfriend, her mind spirals into a vertiginous labyrinth where doubt takes on unfathomable depths. An absurd and psychedelic odyssey, unfolding entirely within the confines of her own consciousness.
Synopsis - short
Caught in uncertainty, Marie faces a pivotal choice: entrusting her boyfriend with the precious spare key to her sanctuary. But as she spirals into introspection, her mind traps her in a labyrinth where doubt unravels in mysterious tendrils. What does it mean to let someone in? To surrender control? To believe they won’t leave? A dreamlike tale, unfolding entirely within the depths of her consciousness, exploring trust and vulnerability through an absurd lens while paying homage to the kaleidoscopic tapestry of psychedelic cinema.
Synopsis - long
Marie stands at the threshold of a seemingly simple decision: entrusting her boyfriend with the spare key to her sanctuary. But what should be a small gesture of trust fractures under the weight of her own spiraling introspection. In the hazy aftermath of an acid trip, her mind bends reality, warping the question into something vast, absurd, and inescapable. Shadows of her past seep in; fragments of childhood, echoes of abandonment, blurring the line between memory and hallucination.
As her thoughts coil in on themselves, trust in love becomes an existential puzzle, expanding to such dizzying proportions that it teeters on the absurd. What does it mean to let someone in? To surrender control? To believe they won’t leave? Trapped within the labyrinth of her own consciousness, Marie embarks on a surreal odyssey, one where logic dissolves, doubt deepens, and the simplest act of intimacy transforms into a kaleidoscopic voyage through fear, longing, and the fragile architecture of human connection.

DIRECTOR - BIO
Benjamin is a visual artist, director, and screenwriter whose work blurs the line between reality and dream. With a deep love for animation and visual arts, he harnesses their power to bring imagination to life in ways the real world cannot. His storytelling balances striking imagery, emotion, and humor, creating worlds that feel both vivid and surreal. Since 2008, he has built a distinct visual language where every frame serves the story.
DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
The making of this project unfolded like a cinematic broken telephone, stretched over six years. An instinctive and fragmented approach, shooting a little, then stepping back, before returning with fresh eyes, rewriting and adapting the story over time. The goal was to maintain a narrative thread, but one with the elusive quality of dreams. Just enough logic to follow, but never enough to break that raw momentum of the unconscious. A fluid, ever-evolving narrative, where each shoot added a new layer to this inner odyssey, shaping a work in constant metamorphosis.
Beyond the process, this project was driven by an incredible team and cast, with whom the joy of creating never wavered. Each shoot became a playground where instinct and imagination led the way, where experimentation thrived, and where everyone’s enthusiasm fueled the film’s energy. It was one of the most liberating and exhilarating creative experiences of my life, a collective journey where the unexpected was always embraced as a driving force of creation.
