OVERTHROW

A film by Amélie Hardy

Synopsis
Overthrow pulls back the curtain on the hidden world of women in politics, where the most consequential battles are fought far from microphones and official photo ops. Through intimate and unfiltered testimonies from iconic Quebec political figures, the film exposes the obstacles, struggles, and power dynamics that have shaped their journeys. At the same time, it shines a light on the women who, despite persistent resistance, are forging new paths and redefining the very nature of power.
